1 octopus approximately of 1 ½ kgs, 500 gr. barley-shaped pasta, 100 gr. olive oil, 1 large onion, 2 laurel leaves, a pinch of all-spice, salt-pepper to taste, 2 lt. of water, 2 tomatoes.

Chop the octopus into large pieces and put it in the pot over low heat until the octopus becomes infused with its broth. Then add the laurel leaves, the all-spice, the shredded onion, the oil and stir fry. Next add the tomatoes, the salt and pepper and let them boil for 15' and then add the water. When the octopus is ready, remove it from the heat and add the barley-shaped pasta into the same water. When the pasta is nearly ready, put the octopus back into together with the pasta and put it in the oven for 15' minutes at 200 degrees C°.
